Manuscript Submission Guidelines
The Editorial Board of the International Journal of Contemporary Islamic Education (IJCIED) strongly encourages prospective authors to ensure that their manuscripts conform to the following academic and editorial standards:
- Manuscripts should be derived from rigorous research addressing a branch of Islamic law discourse in the contemporary era, encompassing both theoretical frameworks and practical applications, and may consider contexts within both Muslim and non-Muslim countries.
- Manuscripts must be written in either English or Indonesian language.
- Manuscripts should be formatted in Book Antiqua, 12 pt, with single line spacing.
- Manuscripts should be comprehensive yet concise, comprising 6,000–8,000 words inclusive of text, tables, figures, footnotes, and bibliographic references.
- Authors are strongly encouraged to employ a citation management software to ensure accuracy and consistency of references.
- Manuscripts must adhere to the AIMRaD structure (Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion).
- All citations and bibliographic entries should conform to the Chicago Manual of Style guidelines.
By meticulously following these criteria, authors contribute to the high academic standards and integrity upheld by IJCIED, thereby enhancing the quality and impact of scholarly discourse in contemporary Islamic education.
